Celebrating Peace
DORCHESTER – To commemorate the International Day of Peace on September 21st, students from the Lower Mills and Neponset Campuses of Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy planted pinwheels in front of the school for the community to see. Since its inception, International Peace Day has marked progress toward peace. It has grown to include millions of people all over the world, taking part in events to commemorate and celebrate this day.
Later in the year, students at our Columbia Campus and Lower Mills Campuses painted peace rocks to create peace paths across their campuses.
