Summer Program
Learning is ongoing and happens in a variety of ways and places. One area of importance is outside the classroom. Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy developed a program that allows our parents to keep their children learning for twelve months.
In our summer program, students spend the first half of the day focusing on ELA and Math skills. We use many venues to expand the learning. Dorchester Park allows us to have an outdoor classroom. We journey to areas throughout the City of Boston for academic field trips. The students get wonderful exercise by walking to a variety of places. It is in this integrated academic experience, immersed in learning and focused on clear goals that our students learn to excel.
The Academy is a legacy school of St. Angela, St. Ann, St. Gregory, St. Mark, St. Kevin, St. Margaret, Blessed Mother Teresa, St. Peter, and St. William parishes in Dorchester, MA.
